Accessibility Statement

Les Énigmes de Giverny is committed to making its activity as accessible as possible to all audiences.

Accessibility for People with Reduced Mobility (PRM)

The route covers approximately 1 kilometer, on a pedestrian street with no cobblestones or inclines, making it accessible for wheelchairs or other mobility aids.

The game is self-paced, and you can complete several puzzles while seated at the chocolate shop, on a nearby bench, or in the church.

There are a few steps at the entrance of the church.

It is recommended to drop off people with reduced mobility directly by car at the starting point “Giverny Chocolat” to avoid the hill from the public parking lot.

Accessibility for Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing People

The game can be played entirely visually, thanks to the written materials provided.

No essential audio elements are required to solve the puzzles.

The QR codes simply repeat the written riddles.

Accessibility for Blind or Visually Impaired People

Puzzle instructions are also available in audio format via QR codes, allowing players to listen to the instructions and clues.

However, some answers and clues require a visual description (images, symbols, or elements of the landscape) and must be explained by sighted companions.

It is therefore recommended that a blind or visually impaired person be accompanied by one or more sighted people.

Accessibility for People with Cognitive or DYS Disorders

The game involves a significant amount of reading (texts, written instructions) and/or listening (audio QR codes).

Understanding and planning the puzzles may require the support of one or more group companions to help with reading and organizing the steps.

Additional Points of Attention

The route takes place on public streets and crosses a tourist area, so caution is essential for everyone’s safety.

The game is designed to be played independently, but it’s the combination of everyone’s skills that will make your group stronger!
